A trio of Phantoms

Recently, we adopted a collection of (mostly) dual-line kites from someone who wasn't flying them anymore, but wanted them to go to a good home rather than end up in a skip. Skip is absolutely not on the table, so to us they came!

Among the kites were three Phantoms. Phantoms remain very nice kites to to fly, so off to Stoney Cross Plain we went to fly them, and so how they match up for pair-flying.

First on the lines was a Highflyers Phantom:

Secondly, we flew another Highflyers Phantom.

And, finally, a Fizz Phantom.

The Fizz Phantom felt a bit different than the two Highflyers, and was definitely much quieter.

So, let's pair them up a bit! First the two 'blue' Phantoms.

As expected, they didn't match up perfectly.

And then we flew the two Highflyers Phantoms together

Perfect match! If we ever fly two of this trio of Phantoms at a kite festival or other public displays, this will be the pairing to use.
